Date:
04/09/2018 - 15:00 to 04/23/2018 - 18:00
Typology:
Workshop

The series of workshops aims to retrace the work of the Italian Parliament during the 17th “legislatura” (parliamentary term 2013-2018). The point of view of constitutional lawyers will be combined with the different perspective of parliamentary clerks, as well as the experience of politicians which were directly involved in those processes.

PhD students from diverse backgrounds will be given a cross-section of legislative and non-legislative activity, in order to gain a better understanding of public decision making.

The first seminar will focus on the use of the different legislative instruments (Monday 9th of April, 15:00 pm, "Stemmi" Room, Palazzo della Carovana, Scuola Normale Superiore, Piazza dei Cavalieri, Pisa), while the second one will focus on the most relevant issues concerning the work of each parliamentary body (Tuesday 17th of April,  15:00 pm, Meeting Room 2° floor, Palazzo Toscanelli, via Santa Cecilia 3, Pisa). The last seminar will then offer the possibility to discuss some of the most significant policies pursued in the period considered (Monday 23rd of April, 15:00 pm, Meeting Room 2° floor, Palazzo Toscanelli, via Santa Cecilia 3, Pisa).
