The workshop is organized in the framework of the Jean Monnet Module MARS (Migration, Asylum and Rights of Minors) and it aims to analyse migrant children’s rights and the challenges that Italy and the whole European Union are facing in their protection. A particular attention will be paid to the effective access to basic services, to the guardianship of unaccompanied minors, to the age assessment, to the child poverty and to the impact of Covid-19. All the topics will be analysed in the framework of the EU strategy on the rights of the child and of the Child Guarantee. Representatives of Institutions, Authorities, UNHCR, UNICEF, Save the Children are speakers of the workshop.

The online event will be held on Zoom and the interpretation service Italian/English will be provided.
